Material characteristics
The expanded metal sheets may be manufactured from materials such as aluminium, steel, copper and other color metals. Expanded metal sheets are manufactured by cutting and then expanding a metal sheet. Thanks to such production process, one is able to achieve one plain sheet, without connections or welds, which is a great advantage. Additionally, thanks to their lightness, air permeability and unlimited uses, the expanded metal sheets are becoming a very popular material.

Use
Expanded metal sheets may be used as decorative elements - as panels or flat sheets. They also constitute an excellent masking material - they are used for cladding of technical rooms, for ceilings, elevations or fencings.

Technical data
The expanded metal sheet's specification depends first and foremost on the type of material used. Durability, clearance, refraction of light depend on the material thickness and the type (shape and size) of the mesh. The expanded metal sheet is described in the following way: "width of the mesh x width of the bridge x thickness of the sheet." Proper choice of the mesh and placement of the expanded metal sheet allows for a refraction or reflection of light.
